Each evening, COSMO’s President, Steve Scott, briefly discusses the state of the industry and introduces the guest panelists.

Sat. Aug. 4: Mentoring Sessions at Musician’s Institute – approx. 8pm – 10pm main auditorium
COSMO friends and resources will offer time to mentor IES attendees during set changes, 8pm – 10pm, at the Musician’s Institute, (onHollywood Blvd. near Vine) in the main auditorium. Music Industry pro’s will offer mentoring in the adjoining Green Room all evening with guest speakers invited by COSMO. Alex Del Zoppo (Songwriters Vantage), Jimi Yamagishi (The SongNet), Antoine Carter (Pro Music Records) and other Music Industry friends may come by to share their company or organization news, opportunities and have brief question/answers discussions. Steve Scott, Judy Lamppu or Toni Koch will introduce speakers.
IES is launching August 1 2012 as a new annual music and entertainment conference and festival inSouthern California. The 5-day event will focus on cutting edge knowledge, networking & performances in the areas of music, movies/TV, and modeling. Featuring over 80 in depth workshops and seminars led by top industry pros, the summit is designed to help musical artists, managers, actors, models, DJs, comedians, film makers, and independent labels/entertainment companies progress their business and career opportunities in the worldwide entertainment and media industries. Each evening will spotlight concerts, performances, film premieres & showcases by attending talent and name performers in a variety of top venues fromHollywoodto Universal Studios to the booming NoHo arts district inNorth Hollywood. The final day, Sunday August 5, will be an innovative day at a special location, for an event called DEAL LINK, where attendees will have a rare chance to network and meet one-to-one with industry decision makers, including investors, A&R execs and CEOs of entertainment companies – a real boon for new talent to connect and advance career opportunities.
